It took time.

Years, actually. To grieve.
To raise my babies.

And somewhere in that quiet, slow rebuilding… the idea for Curated was born.

I’ve always had that “organizing gene.” You know the one. And yes, my CDs were in alphabetical order. But once motherhood hit... so did the chaos.

And then came the deepest kind of overwhelm: I lost my beloved husband unexpectedly in 2015. My person was gone. And suddenly, the stuff didn’t mean what it used to. What really mattered was my peace, my health, and the two little people still here with me.

He was a sentimental collector, and I had my own share of clutter, too. Together, we had filled a home with memories, and a lot of things we didn’t need.

Somewhere in the middle of purging, healing, and figuring out how to live this new chapter…I found clarity.

In 2022, when my kids got a little older, I went all in and launched Curated By Ester + Co.

I wanted to be the kind of help I wish I had during my hardest season. Someone kind. Someone trustworthy. Someone who would show up and say, “You don’t have to do this alone.”
